We caught nearly 100 skipjack below Chickamauga dam. The skipjack make their appearance below Chickamauga dam during the Spring months. With the warmer water temperature the bite was hot. I have had great success catching skipjack with foley spoons, marabou jigs, and sabiki rigs. Cast your lure straight out and reel in fast giving a jerk/twitch motion to your rod.
